This year we have guaranteed places in the 2013 Reading Half Marathon and we'd love for you to run for us! Unlike other charities, we don't think that you should have to pay if you're running for us, so we're offering you a free place in return for your sponsorship*.

Here at Berkshire Phab we are proud to be part of the 2013 Reading Half Marathon. This is the second year we have offered guaranteed places and we're hoping that we'll have a strong team to cheer on in the Madejski Stadium come next April. As with all big runs, places are sought after, especially with our 'run for free' offer so we urge you to apply as soon as you can to make sure you have the best chance of securing your place.
Places on the Berkshire Phab team will be allocated on a first come, first served basis on receipt of a successful application. All we ask is for some details of how you intend to raise the sponsorship money and payment of the up-front fee. The package we are offering runners is as follows:

Entry fee payable to Berkshire Phab - £20
Sponsorship pledge required - £150
If you raise £150 or more we will refund 50% of the entry fee, and if you raise £300 or more we will refund 100% of the entry fee!
In return we will provide you with a fundraising pack and a Berkshire Phab t-shirt to run in.

You can choose to run for our adult club or for our youth club. The fundraising pack and t-shirt will be branded with the following logos to reflect the cause you are fundraising for. For more information about the clubs click on the Members link above.

Applications for places should be made by email to our events team or by post. Please fill in the application form which can be downloaded here.
If you send your application by post, please also contact us by email or by phone so that we can add you to our list of applicants as soon as possible.
