MY VISIT TO READING

We had a walk round Reading.  We took old photos and drawings with us, of old Reading, we took photos with our camera of the same places.

We went to Market Place (The Butter Market), Duke Street Bridge, Broad Street, Friar Street, and the area near the museum.

I thought Reading had changed a lot, but some of the buildings were the same.

I remember the Butter Market – I used to buy all sorts of things there.  I used to go to McIlroy’s but it has gone.  It used to have a basement.  There was a shop called Dunlop and Langstones.

I enjoyed walking round Reading.
